
Roskilde Festival
Founded in 1971, Roskilde Festival has grown to become one of the largest music festivals in Europe, attracting over 130,000 visitors each year. The festival takes place in the city of Roskilde, just outside of Copenhagen, and has a rich history of hosting some of the biggest names in music. One of the most famous performances in the festival’s history was by the iconic rock band The Rolling Stones in 2003, which drew a record-breaking crowd and solidified Roskilde as a must-visit destination for music fans.
In its most recent edition, Roskilde Festival featured an incredible lineup of top-tier artists, including headliners such as Kendrick Lamar, Taylor Swift, Arctic Monkeys, and Björk. The festival also showcased a diverse range of talent from around the world, with performances by rising stars like RosalÃa, Billie Eilish, and Tyler, the Creator. Alongside the music, attendees could enjoy a wide variety of activities and attractions, from art installations and workshops to sustainability initiatives and social awareness campaigns.
