Feel the heat of Kyoto’s most eccentric festival. In the mountain village of Kurama, huge torches weighing up to 80kg are carried through narrow streets by shouting men, guiding the spirits to the Yuki Shrine in a chaotic, fiery, and unforgettable spectacle.
