Rock im Park

Rock im Park, alongside its twin festival Rock am Ring, is one of Germany’s top rock festivals. Rock am Ring began in 1985 at Nürburgring, drawing over 75,000 attendees and becoming an annual event. Rock im Park followed in 1993, settling in Nuremberg in 1997. Together, they share lineups and attract over 150,000 fans annually. The festival has featured legendary acts like Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Iron Maiden, Linkin Park, and Green Day. At its peak, combined attendance reached 175,000, cementing its place among Europe’s largest music festivals.

When I’ve attended Rock im Park, I’ve had the chance to see incredible acts like Placebo, Limp Bizkit, Marilyn Manson, Papa Roach, Korn, and many others. It’s always an amazing experience because the energy and atmosphere are just perfect. You can have a lot of fun with your friends or even with people you’ve just met there.

In addition to the music, Rock im Park takes place in the beautiful city of Nürnberg. This charming city has so much to offer, not just nice spots to take pictures 😉 but also rich historical landmarks.
